Tinnitus

What is tinnitus ?
It is a term that is used to describe noise or noises that people either hear in one or both ears or alternatively in their head. The sound that the person hears can differ from one person to the next.

Can complimentary therapy treatments help with the noise of tinnitus?
There are a number of different therapies that individuals have found to be helpful, the degree of success varies from one person to the next. The different therapies help to relax people helping them to deal with any stress and anxiety issues that are often associated with the condition of tinnitus, stress can also contribute to tension in the muscles all of which can make the noise of tinnitus worse. By treating you as a whole person the therapist is aiming to help you gain better control over your condition, and to help you lessen the noise.

Therapies that people have found helpful in treating this condition are:
Acupuncture
Aromatherapy
Chiropractic
Homeopathy
Hypnotherapy
